Place the sensing bulb of your thermostatic control about 3/4" below the surface of your seed in the growing media. Cover your propagation setup with Fly-Barr insect barrier to hold in the heat and moisture for better germination. If germinating in the greenhouse, it is best to shade the area so the sun won’t cause excessively high temperatures under this cover. Locate the mat in an area that is within 15o of your target temperature for best results. 4.
